What are your New Year's Eve plans?

Well, tomorrow i have to be to work by 5 am which means i'll be up at 4 am but it also means i'll be done by 3 or 4 pm. So assuming i can stay awake long enough i'll probably either be watching videos ot on the computer. Maybe playing dominos or cards. Nothing too fancy. If i really want to get crazy, i might buy a cheese ball and some crackers.

Christmas

Well Christmas has finally come and gone. It's been a busy day with family. Among the highlights of the gifts was a small wind-up football player for my collection of wind-up toys, a broken furbie (the best kind), and promises for lunch dates, shoping trips, and photo excursions. Best of all, money to get back to school and a small computer to go with it. I've been wanting to get back to school for a couple of years now, but something allways seems to come up. Last time it was my new job with long days and erratic hours. I've found out, though, that the local community college offers a lot of online courses so i'm hoping that will allow me to finish at least an associats. With the new computer i'm hoping to be able to study some at work on slow days.

Got a couple of rree movire passes so i used them to see the new Sweeney Todd movie tonight. I was impressed. Tim Burton really knows how to use Johnny Depp and Depp has a supprisingly good singing voice. Both Depp and Helena Bonham Carter (Mrs. Lovette) are kind of sexy in a gothic victorian way. Wish i could pull off that look. The movie stays pretty close to the original if a little darker, in my opinion. I'd highly recomend seeing it, though if you're squeemish about blood you might want to close your eyes durning some sceens.

What Do You Have To Say? - Public Transit Nightmare

What has been your worst experience on public transit?

When i worked in Boston my office was a block away from the finish line of the boston marathon. Imagine several thousand people trying to get down the stair to the subway. I ended up walking five blocks to a diffrent subway station and it still took me over an hour to make it onto a train. This is a picture i took from my office window.
